General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

GDPR stands for General Data Protection Regulation, It is a new piece of legislation that came into force on the 25th May 2018 

The GDPR forms part of the data protection regime in the UK, together with the new Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA 2018) which is also now in place.

What does this mean to you?

If your company or organisation holds any personal data, for example:

  • Address
  • Bank details
  • Photos
  • Surveillance technology
  • Company and Job role
  • HR information
